For this exhibition, we have brought together three Cape Dorset highly accomplished mid-career carvers: Markoosie Papigatok, Mosesee Pootoogook and Samonie Toonoo. Their imagery tends toward the transformational and shamanistic. In selecting which of their works to include, in keeping with the economic times, we have chosen small to mid-size pieces of high quality, which are also affordable.
